About Encore Restaurant & Lounge
Encore Restaurant and Lounge is the first and only jazz bar in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. It is located in what used to be a small fishing village called Bucerias. Bucerias has become a tourist destination for its charming town plaza, beachfront restaurants and bar and outdoor markets. One would not expect a restaurant and jazz bar in the middle of a small charming Mexican town. Â

About Armi Grano
Armi Grano is a Manila-born jazz vocalist whose entrepreneurial spirit and love for music led her to chart an extraordinary path in BucerĂas. Faced with the challenge of securing consistent performance opportunities as a musician in a destination town, Armi decided to take a bold step: she created her own stage.
In December 2009, inspired by her instincts and determination, Armi opened her own restaurant, “Encore,” just days after leasing a vacant space she discovered in town. Today, “Encore” is a beloved venue where Armi captivates audiences from the vibrant expat communities of the U.S. and Canada, performing classic jazz standards with her talented trio.
When she isn’t enchanting guests with her soulful voice, Armi ensures “Encore” delivers a remarkable dining experience with a menu inspired by fresh, West Coast flavors. Her passion for both music and hospitality shines in every note she sings and every dish served, making “Encore” a must-visit destination in BucerĂas.

Local and international jazz musicians are all welcome to jam at Encore. Most nights you’ll see Armi Grano performing with the Viva Jazz Trio or a pianist or visiting musicians.
Local and International musicians have graced the stage of Encore where they can jam and improvise jazz standards. Some of the best jazz musicians and singers who have visited and played at Encore includes, Miles Black, James Gelfand, Linton Cleary, Jorge Tito Rodriguez, Marcos Silva, Maya Rae, Lorraine Foster, Chuck Wansley and many more. Even Jessica Lange came to have some spring rolls!
